These terms govern access to Ivy, including use through supported assistant and connector platforms.

1. Service

Ivy provides Ivy, a software service that can record meals, estimate food portions and calories, maintain a personal ledger, and compare recorded intake with user-defined goals.

2. Estimates, not medical advice

Food recognition, portion sizes, calories, and nutrition values can be wrong or incomplete. Ivy is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use Ivy for emergencies or as the sole basis for medical or dietary decisions.

3. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the information you submit, for reviewing important estimates before relying on them, and for ensuring that you have the right to upload any photograph or other content you provide.

4. Accounts and connected services

You may access Ivy directly or through supported third-party platforms such as an AI assistant. Those third-party services have their own terms and privacy practices. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and authorizations.

5. Acceptable use

You may not misuse Ivy, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected components except where law permits, submit unlawful content, or use the service to harm another person.

6. Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features. AI and third-party services can experience latency, rate limits, or outages, so Ivy is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

7. Intellectual property

You retain rights you hold in content you submit. Ivy's software, branding, and service materials are owned by their respective rights holders. You grant us the limited rights necessary to process your content to operate the service.

8. Disclaimer and limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ivy is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that nutrition estimates are exact or suitable for a particular health objective. Any limitation of liability in the final production terms should be reviewed for the jurisdictions where Ivy is offered.

9. Termination and deletion

You may stop using Ivy at any time. Production accounts will support deletion requests. We may restrict access when necessary for security, legal compliance, or material violations of these terms.
